Equal Opportunity Schools invites you to a regional convening of district leaders to gather and discuss equity in our nation’s high schools. Equity is more important now than ever as we navigate this era which has highlighted inequity in our education system. This convening is an opportunity to gather with like-minded colleagues to explore unique equity analyses, district leadership perspectives, student voices, and pathways to address the opportunity and achievement gap related to rigorous high school courses.
EOS is a national not-for-profit corporation that partners with schools in their efforts to identify, enroll, and support students in upper level coursework such as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate. Our program enhances the college-going culture within a building and shifts the adult mindset to create a sense of what is possible for all students. We have a proven track record partnering with over 650 high schools in 30 states. We have helped those schools add over 50,000 students of color and low-income students to AP/IB courses with over a 70% pass rate on the exam.
